This program provides the less fortunate living in our service area with a hamper containing Christmas gifts and enough food to prepare a meal for the family during the holiday season.
Both the Holden and Viking offices will accept self referrals or referrals made by a concerned citizen or service providers. When a referral is made on someone else’s behalf, our office will call to confirm that a hamper will be accepted, while maintaining the anonymity of the person making the referral.
Donations of non-perishable food, new gift items and cash are gratefully received at either the Holden or Viking Office until December 15th when hampers begin to be put together.
Recipients will be contacted with information about the date and time when hampers can be picked up.
Deadline for registering is December 9th, 2019.
