Home Alone Safety Course

Confident Kids Safety Courses is bringing another Home Alone Safety course to Viking on November 7th, 2019. This safety awareness program is for children who are or will be staying home on their own for short periods of time. Topics covered will include establishing a routine, feeling scared, strangers, severe weather and handling emergencies.Participants will gain skills that will make their experience more comfortable and give them confidence. This course empowers kids to think clearly through unexpected situations and navigate the new challenges of being alone with confidence.

All participants must be 9 years of age or older at the time of the course.

You can call the Viking/Beaver FCSS office at 780-336-4024 to register your child. Course fee of $40 can be paid prior to or on the day of the course via check or cash. Checks can be made out to Viking/Beaver FCSS.
